Justice in Times of War: Academic Event In Warsaw
On May 12 in Warsaw, the Foundation Sunflowers inaugurated a new series of meetings with students. The event focused on the challenges of documenting and prosecuting international crimes committed during the war in Ukraine, as well as on the role of lawyers and academic communities in supporting justice and accountability efforts.
The discussion featured Olha Sribniak from the EU-funded Pravo-Justice and professor Paweł Wiliński, judge of the Supreme Court and The Chairman of the Foundation Sunfowers Council. The meeting also created an opportunity to discuss the engagement of students and young legal professionals in initiatives supporting justice and accountability for wartime crimes.
